One Add-On, Two Results: Bathtub and Inside-the-Oven Cleaning in Renton, WA

A regular cleaning covers the surfaces a home uses every day. The inside of the oven is not one of them, which is why it sits on the add-on list. This Renton homeowner is a recurring client, and for this visit they asked for one extra line on the booking: clean the oven inside. The bathtub was part of the usual routine, but it had built up enough to need more than a routine wipe. Here are both zones, before and after, from the same visit by one cleaner.

The bathtub: gray film and a stained seam

The tub floor had a dull gray film with lighter patches where the film was uneven, plus dark scuff marks near the drain. The caulk seam where the tub meets the wall panel had picked up an orange tint along its full length. None of it is unusual for a tub that is used daily; it builds in layers between cleanings.

The cleaner worked the basin with a bathroom cleaner and a non-scratch pad, rinsing and checking under light until the gray was gone, then went along the wall seam with a small brush.

The result is a white, even basin with a clean drain cover. The seam along the wall was washed out as well, so the tub reads as one clean surface instead of a clean floor with a stained edge.

The oven: baked-on grease on the door and floor

The inside of the door was the worst part. The glass was coated in brown, baked-on splatter, and the enamel frame below it had a crusted black band. The oven floor had scattered carbon spots, and the racks were dull with residue.

The cleaner took the racks out to clean them separately, applied a carbon remover to the door, glass and floor, and gave it time to work before scraping and wiping. Baked grease does not come off in one pass; it needs a second application in the heaviest spots, and rushing it risks scratching the enamel.

After cleaning, the door glass is clear enough to show the racks reflected in it, the speckled enamel is even, and the convection fan cover at the back is visible again.

Why add-ons fit a recurring plan

A recurring visit keeps the everyday surfaces under control, and add-ons like the oven let a client catch up on one heavier zone at a time without booking a separate deep clean. Recurring cleaning is the core of JenyClean’s work, about 70% of revenue, and requests like this one are a normal part of it.
